Organizing Resources
The playground sidebar provides an intuitive interface to manage all resources created in your playground. Resources can be easily renamed, archived, deleted, regenerated, and shared to streamline your workflow and enhance team collaboration.
Available Actions
- Rename Resource: Give your resources meaningful names for easier identification (the default generated name is just a starting point).
- Archive Resource: Archive outdated or unused resources to keep your workspace organized and focused on the latest versions. Archiving can be done by clicking the archive button next to the resource.
- Delete Resource: Permanently remove resources you no longer need.
- Regenerate Resource: Recreate or update a resource as needed.
- Copy Resource Reference: Copy a reference to a resource for use across different playgrounds or tools. This is especially useful for sharing resources between team members or workflows.
Resource References
Resource references are portable and can be used across playgrounds. This makes it easy to share and reuse resources between different tools or team members.
Note: Renaming or archiving resources does not affect their references. These operations are safe and recommended for keeping your workspace organized.
Best Practices
- Use Descriptive Names: Rename resources to reflect their purpose or content.
- Archive Regularly: Archive old or unused resources to maintain a clean workspace.
- Manage Iterations: For tools like deployment and interactive remix, which may generate many resource versions, archive previous iterations to avoid clutter.
By following these practices, you can ensure efficient resource management and smooth collaboration within your team.
